NoSCoS – The Nordic Spinal Cord Society – is an association of professionals in the Nordic countries with special interest in rehabilitation after injuries and diseases of the spinal cord as well as the management of conditions and consequences related to them.


NoSCoS is affiliated to ISCoS, the International Spinal Cord Society, and participates in its activities as a regional representative for Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Visit NoSCoS on Facebook

NoSCoS General meeting 2024

We are inviting all members of our Society to the General Meeting, which will take place during the NoSCoS conference in Helsinki

Membership NoSCoS

Become a member of NoSCoS! As a member, you will have the right to vote at the general assembly and the possibility to get updates on what is going on in the Nordic SCI community. The membership is free of charge.

NoSCoS Award

During the digital General Assembly in May 2023, we decided to create a ”NoSCoS Award” to acknowledge persons, groups, or organisations who have contributed to improve the well-being of persons with spinal cord injury and disease and their close ones in the Nordic countries throughout life. The NoSCoS board has continued to work with the concept and it is now time to nominate candidates. Read more here.
